Private equity (PE) has a historically impressive record of investment returns. Have you ever wondered how that’s been done? Adopting effective partnerships with skilled operating executives can be one key to their success. During this presentation we’ll feature Chicago-based private equity firm, Geneva Glen Capital (GGC), that has mastered this technique of integrating corporate managers into their portfolio companies.
Jeff Gonyo, Managing Director at GCC, will explain the process and what company managers should expect when engaging with a private equity firm in either part-time roles of advisor, co-investor, and/or board member or as full-time executives in their portfolio companies as CEO, CFO, or another senior position.
Geneva Glen Capital invests in lower middle-market companies (generally under $100 million in value). It maintains a unique reach into international markets through the relationship network of its lead investor, Wanxiang America Capital, to leverage extensive resources for GGC’s portfolio companies and thereby attain potential costs savings, and market expansion into China and globally. Geneva Glen Capital invests up to $40 million in companies headquartered in the U.S. or Canada with EBITDA of $3 million to $20 million. Its extensive private equity experience and fund structure enables it to be flexible, creative and, if appropriate, a long-term investor.
