Stopp Family is proud to present the latest commercial from SAS, directed by Andreas Nilsson and produced by Bacon. The Stopp team has been involved from the early conceptual stages in planning the complex choreography needed for the film via pre-vis, supervised the shoot, and all the way to the end of the post production, including all CG and compositing. The film is shot with an Alexa mounted on a repeatable Techno Dolly motion control crane, with about 15 passes for the main film. Due to the enormous space needed to fit up to a hundred people in a single take, the 54x30 meter studio ate up most of the green screen cloth available in the area. The background is full CG, with high resolution textures for the ground and sky, which is based on a 360 panoramic HDR dome, and was also the basis for the lighting of the CG plane and environment. The background was completed ahead of the shoot in order to produce matching light on set, and provided a great real-time reference as a background directly in the monitor on set which gave a very good picture of what the finished result would be after compositing. The Stopp team then spent the following weeks going over every pass and every edge to glue it all together into a single coherent piece.
