You've been invited to dine at the home of a respected war correspondent. Enjoy pasta, wine and pie with friends as your host struggles to maintain his hold on reality. As you eat with your host you'll descend into a world of traumatic memories, hopeless love, and an endless supply of reality television trivia. Toasting to peace with Yugoslav liquor, dreaming of Bon Jovi, and dining on humanitarian aid inspired appetizers, the evening promises to immerse you in a world that is both darkly funny and unsettling.
While Rats Eat Pie explores the effects the breakup of Yugoslavia had on the journalists who covered the war. The immersive dinner performance confronts contemporary issues of PTSD treatment, Western intervention, and our propensity for escapism. Bring your own wine and break bread with new friends as the performer cooks and eats with you. The intimate performance seats only 13 so reserve your spot at the table now before the seats are filled!
The show runs 7:00 Thursday-Sundays October 9-26. Tickets are only available by reservation none will be available at the door. Either purchase your tickets online at ratseatpie.bpt.me/ or reserve by telephone at 514-772-8071 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
