00:00:00 Welcoming Remarks (Note, Bryan is going to skip around some on the list of questions rather than take them in order presented)
00:01:15 MTC: User had submitted couple of files that had extraneous lines going through the file when they try to cut it out or when “drawing” it with a pen in their cutter. (Cutter is a Zing.) Bryan shows that it is not a problem with the file its self as his machine drew it just fine. Bryan thinks it is an issue with the physical cutter machine and says he can try working with the user offline and/or recommends contacting KNK support for further assistance. Bryan then addresses the question regarding “knife point.” He then addresses ways to get a texture and path into MTC. He also recommends seeing the following threads on the forum:

00:24:50 MTC: Bryan discusses different ways to create a scroll design
00:39:00 MTC: Julie shows how to create a patterned chevron design in several different ways. She then shows how to take that pattern and fill a letter with it
00:53:00 MTC: Julie shows how she takes a Silhouette Studio file that she owns and converts it for her personal use to an SVG file for use with MTC. (Note: in order to do this you must have the Designer Edition of the Silhouette program on a PC (Mac version doesn’t work) and it must be an old version – either 1.9 or 2.0. You also have to give it the .svg file extension yourself when naming the file. It will not give you an option to save as an SVG file. You then import the SVG file into MTC.
00:55:00 MTC: If you don’t have the old PC version of the Silhouette Studio DE software, then there are other options on how to convert files your own. Julie next reviews saving to a PDF file using a PDF writer program and then tracing it into MTC. Then she shows using the “snipping tool” to grab your image and then paste it into MTC for a pixel trace.
01:02:00 MTC: Julie addresses a question in regard to how well the screen capture or print to PDF would work to bring in any score lines; then she shows how you can add your own score lines once in MTC
01:11:55 MTC: Julie discusses how to export a file out of MTC as an SVG file and notes that you need to have the DE of the Silhouette Studio program to IMPORT an SVG file; you can also take other SVG files from MTC into other programs
01:14:55 MTC: Julie addresses how she has installed two different versions of the Silhouette Studio program on one computer; she then shows opening an SVG file in Silhouette Studio DE that she saved from MTC; she then addresses several other questions in regard to the Silhouette program
