Catalyst-Circle Rock has a vibrant school community of 520 scholars in Kindergarten-8th Grade in Chicago's Austin community. The staff, scholars and school community of Catalyst-Circle holistically develop scholars to be active collaborators in their own education and lives. This is achieved through a balanced literacy approach, 1:1 iPad implementation, Renaissance fine arts programming, and Project Lead The Way STEM programming. The school has partnered with the Ravinia Foundation since 2012 to provide over 90 scholars with ten hours of classical music instruction, creating the Circle Rockets Orchestra. The mission of Catalyst-Circle Rock is embodied by its staff, scholars and school community to allow scholars to open minds and hearts to life, to love, and to knowledge and become Change Agents for their community and world!
