The truths I learned while Scouting the Divine changed my spiritual life forever. Both the farmer and the vintner I met along the way reminded me that land needs rest. If a piece of land is given a season to lay fallow and rest, the next crop will be even better and more bountiful.

In the same way, my own life needs a season of rest. As I jam-pack my calendar, I rarely schedule in moments or days for laying fallow and resting. But I'm slowly discovering how crucial and important rest is in my own life.

What steps can you take to make rest a part of the rhythm of your life?
