One of the most important tools to understand is the search bar.
The search bar is shown on every screen. When you type at least three characters into the field, a quick search will automatically start running and in a few moments, the results will be shown underneath by category.
Categories with many results need to be opened first by selecting them from the list. Categories with only a few results can be used directly by selecting any item underneath it. For example, if a user is selected, the menu for users will show up and actions can be performed on it through that menu. If something else like a company or department is selected, the menu relevant to that category will likewise show up. It may be necessary to scroll down in order to view all the categories found by the search.
Instead of using the quick-results, press Enter or click the Search button to view the Search page with all the categories shown. Select a category to view the items within it.
By selecting the search type menu, which uses Search All by default, the category being searched can be selected in advance and only those results will be shown. In addition, it’s possible to look for all results within a specific category. To do so, select the category as the search type and leave the search field blank. Then click the Search button. This will show all the items within that category.
