Learn how to find a user. More information about idm365 can be found on idm365.com.
All users can easily be found using the search bar. If the user has just been added, though, it may be necessary to way a couple of minutes for the search index to catch up before searching for them.
To find a user, type or copy their name or ID into the search bar. When the user’s full ID is used, only the specific user will most likely be found. When searching by name, the user may still show up right away if their name is relatively unique. If the user shows up in the quick-results, they can be selected directly from the list to perform actions on them. Otherwise, click Enter or the search button to open the results page, then select the users section to see all the users that were found. The users category can also be selected in advance to show only those results.
There are several ways to narrow down the users in the list. To search within the results, select the search filter box located at the top right of the table inside the header and type more information about the user, for example the department they work in. To sort by a column, click on its title. The search results can also be grouped by dragging the title of a column into the grouping header.
Once the correct user is found, select them from the list to perform any tasks that may be needed.
