CHOTEAU COUNTY CHRISTMAS happens the first weekend of December in the heart of Montana's farm and ranch country. The rural communities of Geraldine, Fort Benton, Loma, Virgelle & Big Sandy celebrate with Craft Fairs, Bake Sales, Parades, & Food Bizarres. There are visits from Santa, a Parade of Lights, a "Christmas Church Tour" and a Live Nativity Scene. Food consist of everything from Senior Citizen Club Spaghetti Dinners and the Masonic Temple's "Taste of Chocolate" to more Womens Club Bake Sales than you shake a stick at.
