My friend Maria is a chef from New Orleans who can make just about anything. A group of us coordinated with her for a cooking class and it turned out to be a blast. Not only did we have fun cooking (and sipping along the way), but the fun ended with an amazingly flavorful meal and some good drink. Here's the menu:
Gumbo (shrimp stock, chicken & sausage over mashed potatoes)
Coconut Lemongrass Curry with Snapper and Mango Rice
Both were paired with Selby Sauvignon Blanc
