PALMAS was created by artist Melissa McGill for the inaugural year of Manitoga's Artist Residency program. The work, based one the clapping rhythms of flamenco, resounds through the Quarry pool as a part of the regular tours. Director Michael Arginsky and Cinematographer Rob Featherstone collaborated with the artist to produce this moving documentation of PALMAS as experienced live on site. PALMAS will remain at Manitoga through our tour season ending November 10, 2014.
