A unique short documentary detailing the lives of couple Brigitte de Prevaux and Jean-Luc 'Boutibs' Boutibou. Dwelling in the French mountains of Thônes far away from consumerist city life, the two live on very little. The film explores their day to day lives: how they spend their time, how they converse with one another, and the occasional loneliness with living in such solitude. Accompanied with an ethereal score and beautiful shots of the mountainous French landscape, Up Above is a documentary unlike any other.
