On October 16th the Supreme Court of Pakistan in Lahore is to hear the case of Asia Bibi, a Christian woman sentenced to death for blasphemy. This might be her last chance to be grated pardon.
Through this movie we want to remind the world that an innocent woman is languishing in Pakistani prison. The movie was shot in May/June 2014 in Pakistan, France and Italy. It features Asia Bibi’s family, her lawyers, journalists and friends, all actively engaged in campaigning for her release. It also includes an interview with Anne Isabelle Tollet, the journalist and author of the book Blasphemy, who first brought Bibi’s case to public attention.
