NYC-based photographer Russell James (http://russelljames.com/) discusses his latest project, Nomad Two Worlds (https://nomadtwoworlds.com/), aimed at supporting indigenous and marginalized communities worldwide. The project, in which James collaborates with local artists to bring indigenous peoples to vivid life, is a personal quest to understand the cultural conflicts he witnessed as a young child growing up in Australia. Nomad Two Worlds sells a collection of handcrafted items from communities around Western Australia, Haiti, and North America, and a book of the same name features James’ stunning thematic photographs of a-list celebrities like Heidi Klum, Sir Richard Branson, and Miranda Kerr combined with traditional painting, beading, textiles and sculpture.
