Gangsters' Paradise - The Venny with Chamber Made Opera 2014

This film is part of a series 'Stories from the Suitcase'. Children of The Venny were presented with a suitcase containing surprising objects to inspire a story. They then filmed this on site at The Venny, with children performing and devising the accompanying score and soundtrack. The result is an eclectic mix with everything from animated puppets, shadow stories, film noir through to a zombie flick.

This film was screened publicly on Friday 21 November 2014 accompanied by a live musical soundtrack, composed and performed by the children of The Venny.
