On October 28, 2009, Jack Woodward, a lawyer representing Beaver Lake Cree First Nation, speaking about the law suit the First Nation has filed against the government of Canada and the government of Alberta on violating Treaty rights (Treaty 6) and Canadian Constitutional rights of Beaver Lake Cree First Nation by issuing permits to numerous oil and gas, pipeline companies to develop Tar Sands. In this clip, Jack spoke the connection between climate change, climate justice and aboriginal rights.
