A beautiful Saturday for a run on the T. Jeff and I ran Oceania and rolled up on the bottom, Jim looked like he had a clean line and punched the hole, and paddled out upright. For some reason he made his way to the opposite bank and crawled out of his boat and lay on the shore. It turns out he cracked the right side of his boat on the thing and bent in a few of his ribs pretty badly. We had to get him out so we ferried and hiked him back up to the platform. We told Jeff to get a quick run in with the sweep paddlers who were leaving as we got there, and I carried Jim's boat up while he slowly hiked ahead of me. We made it to the top, Jim was checked out, and we went and camped on the Lake. Advil did Jim wonders and he's recovering well, but will be out of paddling for a while.
