The Invisible Mammal tells the story of the struggle for survival of North American bats as they face the menacing challenges of deadly disease and habitat destruction, and awakens humans in their role to protect this species from extinction.
This piece focuses on the work of Corky Quirk of NorCal Bats and the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area, home to a healthy colony of a quarter million Mexican free-tailed bats.
