The internet is in a state of constant becoming, located in-between multiple medium formations; a state of
becoming networking or, in other words, a networking practice of ‘becoming a medium’. This is not necessarily a
good or bad thing, but rather an ongoing process of being in-between. Deleuze and Guattari (2004) describe becoming as the in-between, further emphasizing it is not merely about the relation of the two points: “Becoming is
the movement by which the line frees itself from the point, and renders points indiscerniblel” The internet is a hypertextual extension of our selves in a process of becoming networking, wherein some things come to those who wait.
