Colourfield is a generative software ecosystem of colour. This video is a three minute excerpt of the software running in real time. The ecosystem consists of a number of colour agents who compete and cooperate for resources fed back into the system based on the overall colours produced. The system oscillates between stability and collapse as individual agents try to adapt to each other and their environment. For technical details see:
