A new short documentary by Megan Mylan, the Oscar® winning director of Smile Pinki and Lost Boys of Sudan. The film tells the story of Monika Barman, a teenager from rural West Bengal, India growing food to feed her family and the seeds of her own independence in a tiny rooftop garden. The film premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and launched in India in November 2014.
