Twenty three years after Lexi Hiland was abandoned at a hospital in Colombia, she returns to look for her birth mother. However, on a random string of events, her path leads her to a different family that had a part in her childhood that drastically changed the course of her life.

Para Mi Mama (for my mom) is a preview/part I for a documentary called 'La Lotería de la Vida" which is currently in production. This short follows Lexi Hiland, a baby who was left at a hospital by her deaf birth mother in Pamplona, Colombia. Twenty years later, Lexi learns that she was taken care of by a stranger for her first year on earth.
