Newly Re-Mastered Visuals!
A documentary about photographs made by children in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and their award-winning teacher, photographer Wendy Ewald. Haunting, imaginative, deeply insightful inside view at a childhood in the mountains, made before cell phones and digital photography. Ewald went on to receive a MacArthur "Genius Award" for her work as a photographer and a teacher. A "slide/tape" project using stills and mixed audio track, by director, Andrew Garrison.
