My second film made in June 2008 where I was just discovering what you could do with a cheap Handicam and MS Movie editor. This was filmed while I steered the butty (on short cross straps) at the same time. The length of the canal between Foxton locks in Leicestershire and Watford Locks in Northamptonshire, a distance of 20 miles, is a reasonable day's journey. Because of the staircase locks and the unjustified bad reputation of Leicester, it isn't currently a busy route and the countryside is a revelation in it's beauty and isolation. This is out of sequence selection (no continuity whatsoever!) of clips filmed on two seperate days in June where we travelled northwards to Leicester and then a week later returned southwards to Braunston. I've posted this old film because I really enjoyed the life experience and the music too, having seen B A Cissko perform live.
The King and the Knave are otherwise engaged!
