Unity Housing’s $22 million Henley Beach South project, located just 400 metres from the esplanade, delivered 70 new dwellings, replacing outdated public housing.
Centina, selected through a competitive tender, led the design and construction of the project, which included a three-storey, 28-apartment building and 42 townhouses. 20 townhouses were sold on market with the remaining being retained for social and affordable rental, supporting low-income and ageing community members.
The apartments and townhouses feature a clean, Hamptons-inspired design with construction including dual-core framework with timber and steel, fire-rated materials, a blend of glazing and lightweight cladding and on-grade parking.
