WARNING: The base of this video was Rated R for Graphic and Brutal Violence, Pervasive Language, and Strong Sexuality. Many of these elements have crossed over into my edition of the video.

In the movie American History X, the character Danny Vinyard is assigned the titular project. For my Theatre and Cultural Diversity class that I took in the Spring of 2008 at Cal State Fullerton, I was assigned a project which was to showcase some cultural issue presented in the media. I chose the first song "Don't Drag Me Down" by Social Distortion because not only do the lyrics deal with the subject at hand, but also the music set the right tone for the events that take place. The second song "California Sky" by Unwritten Law was chosen purely for sound and the strong intro. You'll see what I mean when its done. Essentially this is my take on the movie in music video form. So, with that I present to you My American History X. Enjoy.
