108 young Australian and New Zealand soldiers fought and defeated 2,500 North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong soldiers in a rubber plantation called Long Tan in South Vietnam on 18 August 1966. 18 Australians were killed in the battle and 21 were wounded with the NVA and VC losing 600-800 dead and up to 1,000 wounded.

We are also developing a feature film called DANGER CLOSE on the same story and you can follow developments on our Facebook page - facebook.com/battleoflongtan
