We travelled a lot the last 48 hours, roundabout 1500km when we left Phnom Penh to spent the second part of our trip on Koh Lanta in the south of Thailand. Finally we reached our destination and were very exhausted. We decided to take a rest at the beach for the whole afternoon.
We had a blast the next 10 days doing some island trips, elephant riding, trekking, photographing the sunrise and sunset, spending and wastin time at the beach, enjoying tasty food and drinks at Nok's restaurant and some others. This island is ideal for relaxing activities, not crowded as much as Samui, PhiPhi or Phuket. The vehicle of our choice was the motorbike and we had great trips. The last one we did, we were covered with rain due to rainy season. It was fun and a bit weird to be the spectator of a Thai taking a shower in the rain. The only thing I missed was that he was singing "I'm singing in the rain, lalalala" Additionally we discovered a german bakery and talked a lot with the owner Ina, who was originally from Germany as well. She told us a lot bout Lanta and the people. Unfortunately we met her the last day before we left. I tried to capture everything we experienced in my last small travel clip and hope that you will enjoy it. I'm lookin forward to some trips in near future and I hope you will visit me here as usual ;-)
