Winner of the Best Film and Best Cinematography/In-camera editing awards at the 2008 Boulder Shoot-Out 24-Hour Film Festival.
The rules of the Boulder Shootout require that the film be shot in-camera (meaning we could not edit), and filmed in only 7 hours within the alloted 24 hour time period.
In order to prove that we filmed in the 24 hours, teams are required to include 5 of 11 items in the film. These include locations, props, and a line of dialogue. Here are the things we used.
1. Shaggy Dog
2. American Flag
3. Split Rock Sculpture on Boulder's Pearl St. Mall
4. Obama or McCain campaign sign, commercial, etc.
5. Phrase by Paul Newman from 'The Color of Money'- "Money won is twice as sweet as money earned"
