We set foot on beautiful Sri Lanka to fulfil the 5th item in my travel bucket list. I call it the Asia version of Peru's Machu Picchu. The Sigiriya is an ancient fortress and palace situated atop of a 200 metres high granite rock.
The complexity of climbing that huge rock with boulders given their limited tools and technology explains why it is synonymously listed next to Taj Mahal and Great Wall of China.
In this video, I share with you our journey through the Cultural Triangle of Sri Lanka.
