Elephant Relocation The WILD Foundation
Botswana is donating elephants to Angola. The Kissama Foundation, mandated by the Angolan government to rehabilitate the country’s national parks, will take delivery of the elephants in the first week of next month. The animals, two family groups, will be captured in Botswana’s Northern Tuli Game Reserve and relocated in the Quicama National Park near Luanda. The Botswana government has pledged 300 elephants to the resettlement program.
