Suzanne Duce is a pioneer of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) research. She begins her talk with a very lucid introduction to the uses of MRI in biomedical research. She then discusses visualization tools currently being used to analyze quantitative data on MRI relaxation; these tools are giving researchers unprecedented insight into anatomy and disease. This talk was part of VIZBI 2010, the EMBO workshop on visualizing biological data (vizbi.org). This video has been filmed and distributed with permission under a creative common license.
