"Harmonics in Math, Art and Music," by Dr. Fumiko Futamura
Dr. Futamura will teach us how to draw tiles in two point perspective to help us understand harmonic sets in math. We'll then see how it's connected to the harmonic sequence (1, 1/2, 1/3, ...) and to harmonics in music.
Dr. Fumiko Futamura is a painter, crocheter and associate professor of mathematics at Southwestern University.
