The 2014 SQAN Studentships featured 14 projects that had a strong interdisciplinary component with a large potential for patient impact or opportunity to enhance current quality and safety initiatives in surgery.
This initiative's goal was to compare complication rates between NSQIP and hospital M&M rounds over a two year period to see if one system is superior. Differences between the two evaluation methods are highlighted and rates are compared.
