The third annual Staithes Festival of Art and Heritage took place on the 13th and 14th September 2014. The weather was kind and a great crowd of art lovers and those looking for a terrific day out flocked to the village.
Visitors bought a record amount of art, and enjoyed exhibitions by 136 artists, buskers, concerts, pop-up cafes, and outdoor (and for the first time indoor) cinema, as well as Staithes's year-round pubs, shops, and cafes.
Launched at the festival, but available all the time, is the Staithes Art Illusion Trail.
