Goran Turnsek (Slovenia): 'I Forgive You'
Goran is an independent choreographer and dancer. He studied theater dance in The Theaterschool Amsterdam and communication and design management in INHOLLAND, Rotterdam. He was a member of Rogie&Company for three years and dance group Krisztina de Châtel for 4 years. As a dancer he is currently collaborating with Giulia Mureddu. In 'I Forgive You', Goran explores the difference between dance and sport. The beauty of movement in sport can be so presented that it can result in dance instead. Goran will present a competition without a final result within a sportive dance.
Jan Klug (Germany): 'Boiling Down'
Jan is a composer and media designer with extensive experience in the use of computers and programming as creative tools for the creation of music performances and live video. Jan has developed a particular interest in the possibilities of creative computer programming and as a composer and media designer, he has worked on several projects in dance, theater and film. During the past few years, he has planned to combine his past collaborative projects into a solo performance. In 'Boiling Down' he will try to find answers to questions like: Do I really want to create a solo performance? Which form should it take? And do I have enough arms for this?
Pras Anand (England): 'Civil Sandbox'
Pras was born in India and grew up in England. He moved to Holland in late 2000 to engage in cultural projects. He is a multimedia and computer specialist/artist who likes to concept community projects and new technologies. The Civil Sandbox is a culmination of 15 years of research into the creation of new services for 21st century citizens. His presentation will focus on the overall concept and its ability to empower us to create change.
