Blue Heart Theatre was established in 2014 to produce new Irish plays and little known American plays for an Irish and UK audience. The group emerged out of Acting Out, Dublin’s LGBT drama group and has members from Ireland, England and the USA. Their first production is of Paula Vogel’s award winning, “The Baltimore Waltz” written as a response to the death of her brother from complications arising from AIDS in 1988.
