Tragicom Studios Movie Explores Link between the Technology Industry and the Rise in Autism with Futuristic Eugenics Sci-Fi Thriller, "MindBlinders"
Since the invention of the transistor in 1947, the high technology industry has created an exponential demand for workers who have traits such as extreme focus and who seek the safety of narrow interests. The same traits found in individuals who are on the autism spectrum. Through 70 years of the expanding technology sector, the epigenetics of traits required for successful technology workers have been cultivated enabling them to thrive and pass on their genetics shifting a large sector of the human gene pool toward a predisposition to ASD. Historians refer to this era as the Age of Quantum Eugenics. Whatever environmental triggers have caused the cases of autism to go from 1-in-10,000 in 1950 to 1-in-5 in 2048 are secondary to the genetic foundation. -boswell 2019
Many thanks to the Trump team and Robert Kennedy Jr. Huge thanks to the production staff in both NYC and Boston.
"Every research discussion on autism always begins with genetics. Explanations about the epidemic rise in autism now include that ugly word...eugenics.
