"Dundee, Scotland is the Bingo capital of Europe - an entire sub-culture of quasi-religious Bingo players exists there. The winnings can be huge, spawning hordes of superstitions, rituals and strict etiquette.
The culture is rooted in Dundee’s industrial past. Factory owners only employed women, as they were cheaper. This sparked the evolution of the first house-husbands and a society of empowered, independent women, generations before it became visible anywhere else.
This is a film not just about the culture of Bingo and the people who play it, but about the changing face of a city and the role a little ball game has in so many lives."
