Lately I have been really enjoying God's beautiful creation at night while taking a few pictures of the stars above. Not every night has been a perfect viewing experience though, with raccoons fighting and coyotes howling next to me, but it's definitely made me appreciate the outdoors a little bit more. The next day when I view the time lapses from the night before I see how amazing the heavens above are displayed. I have been shooting stars in the Watsonville area. I know it's not the best place to view clear sky's because of light pollution but I still see shooting stars, satellites going by, and the ocean fog rolling in. I can easily recommend going out at night to enjoy these things at least once in life. If you can't see stars where you live then enjoy this short video showcasing Pajaro Dunes in Watsonville, California. It's a beautiful place to visit and stay for a relaxing weekend away. If you are ever staying there just look outside and you might just see me with my camera gear trying to find a fun spot to shoot.
Thanks to the security guys for allowing me to shoot some of these shots right outside the front gate next to their building. And thanks to the cars that didn't run me over. :)
