Colin Pantall is photographer, writer and lecturer based in Bath, England. He started his photographic career doing travel photography in Asia. In 2006, he completed an MA in Documentary Photography and began writing on photography for publications like the Far Eastern Economic Review and the British Journal of Photography.
With the birth of his daughter, the travel stopped and Colin made domestic projects such as 12 Grosvenor Place and Sofa Portraits. During this domesticity he also began his blog on photography, and the world in general, the unimaginatively titled Colin Pantall's Blog.
Colin teaches on the Documentary and Fashion and Advertising courses at the University of South Wales and writes extensively for the BJP, Photo Eye and Emaho Magazine.
