In the world of unmanned warfare, Africa is becoming the next battlefield. Drones offer many opportunities to control the continents’ large landmass. Seventeen African nations have drones, and many are developing their own. As one of the largest weapons manufacturers, South Africa plays a leading role in the African drone development. At the same time the U.S. is building new drone bases all over the continent. This short documentary explains how power is shifting towards remote control, and offers a view into the growing use of drones in Africa.
