How does your body react to art?

How does your body react to art?

Gaia Alari

Emotions triggered by experiencing art can be felt in the body.

The body moves as a character: it stretches, morphs and turns in ways that belong to dreams, in front of a wide, nuanced and complex array of emotions, often unexpected and difficult to process.

A straight ahead animation, hand drawn and hand painted on paper (circa 1200 drawings in charcoal and oil pastels) that represents - with exquisite corpse-like transitions and deliberate imperfections - the emotional, textural inscape of a body in its journey through art while visiting the museum.
