We had 48 hours to un-compete in the 2014 Deconstruction! A global game created for the creators. Our mission: deconstruct something and rebuild it into something cooler than what existed. Therefor making the planet just that much better. We set our eyes on New Orleans and rebuilding a home effected by hurricane Katrina.
Teaming up with the Rebuilding Together Foundation we kicked off the start of a much larger project to rebuild granny Ina's home. We deconstructed architecture, turing it into "ARTchitecture" and set the precedence for creatively transforming Granny Ina's home in a functional way.
our 3 projects:
1. Dismantling, and rebuilding the waterlogged porch left in disarray after Katrina.
2. building a doghouse in the backyard for Shaka Zulu.
3. put back together Ina's fence which had fallen apart allowing unwanted neighborhood trespassers to enter.
