Artistic Summary: Deep within a ghost-town’s subconscious, haunting images of its past and present reveal inter-dimensional gateways of which ghosts from time emerge. In order to glimpse the secret that resides in the abandoned mine tunnels, a lone caretaker must navigate carefully under the protection and guidance of the Jaguar Shaman.
Filmmaker's Statement: This work is the perception of my experiences in the ghost town of Ruby, Arizona while filming bats over several months that reside in the abandoned mine tunnels. Images of the ghost town; archival footage; the secret life of the sole caretaker and the flight of migratory bats, were inexplicably woven into a mysterious tapestry of storied images unbounded by a sense of time.
