This video discusses the Historic Marbold Farmstead just about one mile south of Greenview, Illinois. The mansion was built in 1850 on approximately 4,000 acres and expanded in the 1880s. An association was formed to preserve the historical farmstead and conducts events throughout the year to attract visitors to the site. They feature a Second Sunday series each summer (on the second Sunday of June, July and August) with a variety of programs, lectures, performances, demonstrations and much more. This video showcases some of the highlights of 2014 festivities that included an antique show, civil war encampment and a stage production of "One Grand Old Lady written by Ken Bradbury.
