Sheriff Bill Gore and Undersheriff Ed Prendergast led deputies at the Mother Goose Parade in the East County. It's billed as the largest parade West of the Mississippi. The parade is always held the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
Volunteers with Mounted Volunteer Patrol, Search and Rescue, Explorers (teen volunteers), as well as deputies from various stations/substations, Traffic Services and Special Enforcement Detail or SED/SWAT took part in the parade. The horses for Sheriff Gore and Undersheriff Prendergast were courtesy of our amazing and dedicated volunteers.
Have a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving.
