For a long time Hamburg has been a blank spot on the map of international street art and urban art scene. This fact was changed this year. In early october the KNOTENPUNKT Festival, organized and curated by the AFFENFAUST GALERIE, made the city of Hamburg into a meeting point between urban art and new contemporary art. The festival attracted more than 5,000 visitors and delighted the motley audience of urban art-lovers, art connoiseurs and art collectors. More than 50 international artists were exhibited in the Hanseatic city from 2nd till 5th October 2014.
In a former industrial building on the Kolbenhof in Bahrenfeld, the art will be displayed and offered for sale on three floors and on more than 850 square meters of exhibition space.
The KNOTENPUNKT Festival repositioned Hamburg onto the international map of urban art.
