The wedding photography of Julia and Michael at Sripanwa Phuket
I was dreaming of taking the wedding photography at Sripanwa for a long time. The wedding venue ” Baba Nest ” has spectacular view that will be one of the most beautiful destination wedding venue in Thailand. It’s on the rooftop that you can enjoy with the sunset. Baba Nest’s wrap around infinity pool surrounds the rooftop deck overlooking panoramic views of surrounding islands, Andaman Sea and Phuket’s Southeastern peninsula. Baba is a Persian term used in South Asian cultures. It means of father, grandfather or wise old man. Baba is called for an old man but sometime its also used to call someone with love and care.
We meet Julia and Michael a day before the wedding day. It’s always great to meet the couples we have shot for before. We meet their family and friend, bridesmaid, groomsmen in a private villa and take photograph of them. Julia’s best friend made a wedding dress for her for taking pre wedding photo with us. Julia and the bridesmaids wanted to take the bikini shot with her friends too. The photos come out so cute and fun. We spent a few hours to take the photography at the beach and the pier. After dinner, we come back to the villa again to take the party ‘s photography. Michael write the hint notes for game. Each guest will get a short note describing of the story or characteristic of someone that they may know. If the answer is wrong, the guest will jump into the pool or otherwise they will throw a loser into the water. It was so funny. The groomsmen are so cheeky. They prepared a surprised cake for Julia. That was six pack cake and Julia had to eat a testicle part of cake. It was so funny.
On the wedding day, we came up in the afternoon and spending time at Baba Nest. We took the photograph and video shot here. The sky was so clear that day. They are such a lucky couple. The ceremony started from tea ceremony at the villa. Julia looked so beautiful in red qipao embroider in peony. I’ve never seen it before. After that Julia changed it to the white wedding dress with a long veil. She looked stunning and ready for the wedding ceremony.
The wedding ceremony started at 5.00 pm – ring ceremony, exchanging vows, champagne toasting and cake cutting. The sunset was so beautiful when all guests release the balloons. The wedding reception and after party was held at Baba pool club and end up about midnight.
I believe Julia and Michael are enjoying their marriage to the fullest. May you always remember the love shared on this special day. Wishing you a lifetime of love.
