Second, to help promote the ebook of the same title, featuring Layla Griffin and Homicide Detective Paul Diamond. Upon recovering her memory, Layla is propelled into another conflict. This time, the back story of her mother Dr. Camille Dumas is revealed, which is telling in why her biological grandfather wants her dead. While this short only presents the beginning of Layla's new life, the ebooks provides a detailed narrative of the characters and their motivations.
